Represented former officer of Fortune 500 company against securities fraud and breach of fiduciary duty claims arising out of alleged backdating of stock options. Dismissed.
Pollock v. D.R. Horton, Inc.
Multnomah County Circuit Court (Oregon)
Represented publicly traded home builder against an executive's claims for breach of contract and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing. Plaintiff claimed $10 million in damages. Brought counterclaims for breach of fiduciary duty and restitution. Settled during jury trial.
Pacific Financial Funding, Inc. v. West Star Construction, Inc. et al
Multnomah County Circuit Court (Oregon)
Represented construction subcontractor and individual guarantors sued for breach of contract and action on a guaranty. Defendants were sued for more than $1 million. Bench trial resulted in defense verdict and attorney's fees and costs. Affirmed without opinion on appeal.

Represented stockbroker against ORICO, civil conspiracy, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and indemnity claims. Dismissed.

Represented investment capital fund against claims of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty brought by entrepreneur. Brought counterclaims for breach of fiduciary duty, negligent misrepresentation, and fraudulent misrepresentation. Settled after sanctions motion for destruction of evidence.
